Your Transport Times

I learned to drive with Driving School UK based in Bath in England. I had thirty hours of driving lessons with driving school uk. I had done my theory test and I passed it with flying colours. My first practical driving test went wrong when I backed around a corner and went up on to the pavement. I had much better luck passing my driving test the second time. Driving School UK were delighted and I had been so happy with the instruction they gave me.

On my way back from the Glastonbury Music Festival in my friend Elle's car I saw a place selling an amazing looking vehicle. It was called a Roma Home. I was so surprised to see it was the size of a car and yet it was like a mini camper van. We drove into the forecourt and saw all the Roma Homes for sale. The new price was £28,000 so I had a look at second hand ones. A sales man came over and let us look into one of the Roma Homes. It had a seat for two at the front and then it had a table that could be turned into a bed. It had a toilet and a small kitchen. I asked the price and the sales man said it was £9,000 so then I realized I could afford that. I went home with a big smile on my face.

With the details of the Roma Home and my age I looked on the Internet so see how much insurance would cost if I did buy it. It would be £30 a month so that seemed excellent value to me. It really would be the convenience of a car and give me the freedom to go off travelling just like if I owned a huge camper van. The next day I got Elle to give me a lift back down there. I paid the money and the sale's man helped me get all the paperwork sorted in the next two hours. It got into insurance group four so that pleased me. I was so happy when I drove along the A38 thinking about the lessons I had when I was learning with Driving School UK. I drove past their office thinking how lucky I was to have the Roma Home.

I built up my driving experience before I applied for an International Driving License. When I got that I was able to travel all around Europe in my Roma Home. I went all the way down to Naples passing through France and Switzerland. On the way home I visited Austria and Germany. I had a really fantastic time traveling in all the different European Countries and I saved so much money having my own transport and accommodation.
