Your Transport Times

I have always loved music and had always gone to music festivals at any chance that i was given but as always the problem was always getting the transport to go as i never drove at the time but i knew that if i was to keep going to the festivals then i would be better off if i had my very own transport. I had never really thought about or been very interested in driving before but after constantly having so much trouble i decided that now was as better a chance as any. I had always wanted a motorbike myself but the terrain of the festivals was never really the terrain that you would want to be riding a motorbike on so i settled for a van which my dad had promised me for when i passed my driving practical test. I had been in a local rock band for quite a while now and had always dreamed of touring with the rest of the band so i knew a van would be the best option for us to get around to the places that we would be playing in at the time.

my father paid for me to do a course with driving school uk who was named the best driving company in the country for their pass rate of their clients. I hated driving and taking lessons for driving school uk as i just wanted to pass so that i wasn't being told what to do and where to drive all the time. I wanted to be able to drive where ever i wanted and whenever i wanted to go there. driving school uk offered to pick me up on my first lesson but had told me that i wouldn't be behind the wheel on my first day as it was more about them teaching me the safety of the road and what different signs meant and when to change gears on the car. I ended up taking lessons with driving school uk for about 6 months before my instructor asked me if i felt ready to be put forward for my test which i overly excitedly said yes to. I failed my first driving test but i passed on the second attempt as i wasn't as nervous as i was on my first try. My father true to his word bought me my very first van which i still have to this day and look after really well.
